Jacqueline A. Knight

Jacqueline was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 24, 1928 to parents Joseph and Cecilia Matusinski. Jacqueline enjoyed a passion for thoroughbred race horses, owning and racing them along with her husband, Ernest, who trained them. She liked to knit and do jigsaw puzzles. She loved to vacation in Las Vegas, actually living there for a period of years. Jacqueline was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Ravenna Senior Center.

Jacqueline is survived by her sons: Terrance (Connie) Knight and Jerry Knight. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Ernest (Tina) Knight, Renee Knight, and Joseph (Emily) Knight. She also leaves her great-grandchildren: Ava Knight and Zachary Knight. Jacqueline will also be missed by many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ernest Knight, and 5 sisters and 1 brother.

Funeral services, officiated by Reverend John-Michael Lavelle, will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main Street, Ravenna, Ohio. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
