Jim was born in Akron, Ohio to parents Gilbert Davis and Veryl Walters on June 23, 1952. He worked as a welder for Wrayco in Stow, Ohio and had been employed there for over 18 years. Jim was a true product of the 50’s who enjoyed building and working on hot rods and listening to 50’s & 60’s music. He liked watching car racing.
Jim is survived by his children: Brian (Cheryl) Davis and Amy Davis Betz. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Bryce, Morgan, and Aiden Davis, Lindsay Michalkiewicz and Molly Betz. Jim also leaves his brothers: Jack Davis, Donald Walters, Mike (Lori) Walters and his step-father Ray Walters.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family will receive friends on Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna from 6:00 P.M. until the 7:00 P.M. Memorial Service officiated by Pastor David Ballert.
