He was born October 7, 1944, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Durward Donald and Mary (Fildes) Ferrell. James graduated from Ravenna High School in 1962. He worked at AC Williams, Lite Metals, and Evenflo. Jim’s most recent job as a newspaper deliveryman for the Beacon Journal and Record-Courier. A job that he truly enjoyed.
Jim proudly served his country as a member of the US Air Force. He was an avid bowler and will be remembered as a kind and generous person.
Jim is survived by his son Scott Ferrell, step-son Dave Wyers, and grandson Brett Wyers, as well as many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents his wife Wanda Ferrell, and his longtime companion Carol Klepper.
