

She was born October 13, 1930, in Akron, Ohio, to Elizabeth and Sebastian Botz. Jean attended Randolph High School and worked for Robinson Memorial Hospital for several years. Later in life she became a beautician and owned her own shop in Randolph. She was a member of the Randolph Garden Club and St. Joseph Parish in Randolph.
Jean married the love of her life, Walter A. Kehner on October 2, 1948, and lived in Randolph with their three daughters. She adored her family. Jeannette played the piano and loved to cook. Many weekend gatherings were surrounded by friends and family playing music and enjoying good food and laughter. She also enjoyed playing music with her sister Vivian and her brother-in-law Jim for the senior citizens of Randolph.
Jeannette is survived by her mother Elizabeth (Hobler) Botz; her daughters: Bonita “Bonnie” (Fred) Fish of Randolph, Elizabeth “Beth” (Dan) Kline of Randolph, and Barbara “Barb” (Jeff) Casher of Brimfield; grandchildren: Lisa (Colin) Kunkle of Brimfield, Matt (Tarra) Kline of Randolph, Chad (Elisha) Fish of Alliance, Kelly (Todd) Martz of Hartville, Cortney (Dustin Wyde) Fish of Akron; sisters: Vivian (Jim) Back of Randolph and Doris (Tony Proschko) Engler of Mogadore; and brother: Sebastian “Bud” (Joyce) Botz of Randolph. She will also be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren: Caitlin, Kyle, Adam, Garrett, Atlee, Delaney, Evan, and Jordan; and her dear friend Lamar Jenior.
She was preceded in death by her father Sebastian Botz, husband Walter Kehner, infant son Thomas, and sister Elizabeth “Libby” Wiland.
Friends will be received Tuesday, September 6, 2011, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at St. Joseph Church, 2643 Waterloo Rd., Mogadore. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
