

He was born December 24, 1982, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Beth A. (Hall) and Terry A. Brantner. Josh graduated from Rootstown High School and Maplewood Vocational School in 2001. He worked at Stouffer’s in Solon for several years as a forklift operator. Josh’s main passion was fishing.
He is survived by his beloved wife Kylie and their daughter Klarissa. Josh is also survived by his mother and step-father Beth and Dennis Channel, his brother Bobby (Jody) Brantner, his grandfather Harold Hope, his mother and father-in-law Grace and David Gross, his sister-in-law Corri Gross, as well as nieces and nephews Rayna, Anthony, Hayden, Landen, and Kolt, along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Josh was preceded in death by his father Terry Brantner, grandmother Janet Hope, and grandfather William Hall Sr.
Friends and family will be received February 1, 2017, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Stephen Sparling on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown.
