Joyce Persinger

She was born March 7, 1936, in Brimfield, Ohio, to parents Harold Simon and Vera (Domer) Ebie. Joyce was a lifelong resident of Brimfield and grew up on the family farm. She retired from Flasher Cleaners in Kent after many years of employment.

Joyce is survived by her husband Thomas Persinger, who she married November 25, 1967. She is also survived by her children: Margie Ellis, Tina (Tom) Drurey, Tammy Pinney, and Frank Swartz, her daughter-in-law Virginia Morrow, her seven grandchildren, her three great-grandchildren, her brothers Robert (Midge) Ebie and Carl (Sharon) Ebie, her sister Grace Woerz, and her sister-in-law Sally Ebie.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her son Ted Morrow Jr., her granddaughter Danielle Morrow, and her brother Ray Ebie.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with funeral services officiated by Pastor David Ballert at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield.
