

Judith was born August 6, 1940 in Grove City, Pennsylvania to the late Eugene D. and Eileen A. (Whalen) Forker. She was a graduate of Grove City High School and the Akron City Hospital Technical School, where she received her certified X-ray technician credentials. After her daughters were raised, Judy went to work for the Willoughby Eastlake School District and then Eastlake North High School.
Judy enjoyed sewing, quilting, flower gardening, reading novels, and cooking especially her famous spaghetti sauce, or baking birthday cakes. She was also fond of animals, especially dogs.
Judy is survived by her husband, Richard Gardner, who she married December 17, 1960; her daughters, Ellen (Robert) Panelley and Lisa (Brock) Bierman; her granddaughter, Allison (Andrew) Bennett; her grandson, Robert Bierman; and her sister, Genie Solomon.
Funeral services will be 11AM Monday, August 14th at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. in Ravenna; where friends and family may call from 10:30AM until the time of service. Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery.
