She was born January 18, 1965, in Ravenna, a daughter of Richard Harper and Nancy (McClintock) Rodgers. Karen was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and friend. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and fishing, and was an avid NASCAR fan. She loved all animals, but held a special place in her heart for her pet dogs and cats.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years Robert M. Martz II, her father Richard Harper, her mother and step-father Nancy and Ron Rodgers, her sister Nancy Oberholtzer, her brother Richard Harper Jr., as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday, June 2, 2011, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be officiated by Pastor David Ballert on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
