LaRita Adaline Boston

She was born December 7, 1930, in Hartville, Ohio, daughter of the late Howard and Lucille (Ney) Schwinn. LaRita worked as a dietary aide at Robinson Memorial Hospital for 42 years. She enjoyed shopping, playing cards, attending family reunions, and wintering in Umatilla, Florida. LaRita was an avid Cleveland sports fan, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children: Karen (Gordon) White, Donna (Bruce) Kirby, Rick (Vickie) Boston all of Ravenna and Tammie (Greg) Liddle of Brimfield; grandchildren: Rhonda (Zack) Muskgrove, Amanda and Erica White, Brad (Rachel) Kirby, Donnie, Savannah, Olivia, and Isabella Boston; step-grandchildren: Mary and Rich Uphold, Greg Jr., Shane, and Stacie Liddle; great-grandchildren: Lance, Ethan, Kahne, Tyler, Dylan, Greg III, Shane Jr., Kyle, Mason, and Logan; also survived by her brother Howard “Bud” (Rosemary) Schwinn of Tavares, FL and her close friend Paul Smith.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald Boston, her father Howard Schwinn, mother Lucille Schwinn, step-mother Esther Schwinn, her brother Darl Schwinn, half-brother Chuck Ney, and her dear companion Kenny Kline.

Friends will be received Sunday, November 21, 2010, from 2-4 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Funeral services will be officiated by Reverend Gary Beck at 11:00 AM on Monday at the Ravenna Assembly of God, 6401 State Route 14, Ravenna. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
