He was born June 10, 1937, in Brimfield, Ohio, to parents Ned and Lucille (Garmier) Stahl. Larry was a truck driver for Anchor Motor Freight in Lordstown for 25 years, as well as working for General Motors and Leaseway, and was a member of Teamsters Local 337 in Youngstown.
Larry was always working on something around the house, especially his cars. He was talented at drawing and restoring furniture. Larry also enjoyed a good cigar and listening to polkas.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife Janice Stahl, daughters: Robin (Frank) Bilby, Christine Fleshner, grandchildren: Angela (Anthony) Klier, Alexander Delaney, and Bowen Peet. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Edward Stahl.
Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received Wednesday, January 9, 2019, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM with a memorial service officiated by Chaplain Jody Hill at 6:30 PM at the Deerfield Town Hall, 1450 State Route 14, Deerfield, OH 44411.
