Laura Kathleen Hall

Laura was born in Ravenna, Ohio on March 28, 1976 to parents David and Kathleen (Barry) Hall. She graduated from Waterloo High School with the class of 1994 then attained a BA in business from Kent State University. Laura enjoyed an 18 year career with First Merit Bank moving up the ranks in various positions. She was employed the last five years as an underwriter with Traveler’s Insurance in Independence, Ohio. Laura was full of life and loved music. She was an avid concert goer and loved attending her niece’s recitals and nephew’s band concerts. Laura loved to travel and enjoyed the destinations not only for work but also in her personal travels, always documenting those trips with handmade books and photos. She was an avid reader and cross-stitcher and loved all animals. Laura also enjoyed making hand-made stamped greeting cards for all occasions.

Laura is survived by her parents and her siblings Elaine (Ken) Wohlwend and Karl (Amy) Hall. She will be lovingly cherished by her nieces and nephews: John & Todd Hall, Savannah & Audrey Wohlwend and honorary niece and nephew Adrianna & Phillip Styer. Surviving also is her aunt Peggy Hall, cousins: Don and Scott Hollendonner & families and many loving friends.

Friends and family will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. Ravenna, on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm where funeral services, officiated by Pastor Rich Hall, will be conducted on Monday, January 22, at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Atwater Cemetery.
