

He was born July 19, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of the late Frank and Jessie (Krzywicki) Pruchenski. On July 1, 1967, he married the love of his life, Frances, and the couple raised two children. He was a member of the Edinburg United Church where he served as an usher, deaconate, youth group leader, Sunday school teacher, and on other various committees. Larry was very active with 4-H being an advisor for 30 years, and also volunteered as a Boy Scout leader. Larry retired from the Chrysler Twinsburg plant and was a veteran of the US Army. The Pruchenski family was very involved in the Worldwide Marriage Encounter, serving as a prayer couple.
He is survived by his beloved wife Frances (Dria) Pruchenski; his children: David (Julie) Pruchenski of Cleveland, Kathy (Scott) Pruchenski-Galloway of Rootstown; grandchildren: Tessa Galloway, Corey Galloway; sister: Rosemarie (Darrell) Brown; as well as many other loving relatives including his uncle Victor Pruchinski, and cousins Delia Betzler and Tony Marcin.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Geraldine Riggle.
Funeral services will be officiated by Reverend Glen Shedlock at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday. Friends will be received TUESDAY, June 7, 2011, from 6-8 PM and an hour prior to funeral service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park with military honors.
