Lonnie Alan Love

He was born September 26, 1967, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Ronald and Juanita (Pigg) Love. Lonnie graduated from Crestwood High School in 1985, and then married his high school sweetheart, and true love of his life, Donna Clayman on November 2, 1985. Together, they raised three sons Christopher, Aaron, and George.

Lonnie was a hard worker and owner of On Guard Fence Company. He will fondly be remembered for his witty sense of humor and willingness to help others. Lonnie was a member of Ravenna Elks Lodge 1076 and a former president of the Crestwood Ruritan Club.

When he took a break from working, Lonnie tried to enjoy life. He loved to ride his Harley, grill, and hang out with friends and family. Lonnie was also known to frequent casinos and had the good luck of winning more than he lost. Above all, he was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather.

Lonnie is survived by his beloved wife Donna, sons: Christopher, Aaron, and George, his granddaughter Leighton, and his brother Ronald (Nicole) Love.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John Love.

His wishes for cremation are being honored. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Lonnie’s life on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM with a memorial service officiated by Pastor Scott Hindel at 1:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E Main St, Ravenna.
