Lonnie lived in Ravenna, Ohio his entire life and graduated from Ravenna High School in 1974. He retired from UH Portage Medical Center. Lonnie enjoyed walking in nature, reading and yardwork.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his loving parents, Robert & Idella (Gilham) Smith and older brother Robert.
Cremation has taken place and Lonnie will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery after a private service with family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the UH Portage Medical Center Foundation, 6693 N. Chestnut St, Ravenna, Ohio, 44266.
