

He was born November 22, 1933, in Youngstown, a son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Tarentino) Cataline. Louis was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Air Force. He later retired from the Air Force Reserves as a Master Sergeant. Mr. Catoline enjoyed flying and building radio controlled planes, he was also a private pilot. He belonged to the VFW and the Moose Lodge. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughters Sherry L. Catoline and Brenda L. Connolly; grandchildren: Ryan P. Connolly, Brittany E. (Ray Daviduk) Connolly, and Ariana C. Corfios; great-grandchildren: RayRay and Carmen Daviduk; a sister: Christina Botirius; brothers: Charles and Arthur Cataline; his former wife Pauline D. Ackerman, and several loving nieces and nephews.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Debra A. Catoline, and his former wives Dorlis and Marie Catoline.
Friends will be received Thursday, January 13, 2011, from 6-8 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, OH 44266. A brief service of remembrance will follow at 8:00 PM. Final resting place will be Florida Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
