

Peg was born in Wheatfield, Pa. on February 21, 1926 to parents Lincoln and Elda Gibson. She was a homemaker who spent her life loving her family. She was a loving wife to James, her husband of 62 years and a great mom and loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Peg was a member of the First Baptist Church in Streetsboro and enjoyed her time spent with the Homemakers Club in Edinburg. She liked to garden and loved country music. Peg really enjoyed swimming with the senior swim group at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
Surviving Peg is her husband, James and children: Jim (Sandy) Rumsey, Diane Rumsey, Randy (Pam) Rumsey, Budd Rumsey and Sonny (Linda) Rumsey. She also leaves her grandchildren: Teresa (Chris) Crull, Michael Rumsey, David (Wendy) Rumsey, Jeffrey Rumsey, Kyle Rumsey and Samantha Rumsey and great-grandchild, Oliver Crull. Surviving also is her brother, Lincoln Gibson and sister, Bonnie (Tom) Pittman.
Peg was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Donald Gibson and sister, Judy Stanick.
Family will receive friends at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 5:00PM until the 6:00PM memorial service officiated by Pastor David Ballert.
