MariaGiavanna Mann

She was born August 23, 1966, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Paul Vito and Patricia Ann (Lukenic) Amodio. Maria graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School in 1985. She attended Kent State University and received a paralegal degree from a business school in Canton. Maria worked at the Akron Municipal Court. She was a member of St. Patrick Parish in Kent. Most recently, Maria was working as the cheerleading coach at Arch Bishop Hoban High School. She had previously been the cheerleading coach for St. Patrick’s. Maria was dearly loved, and will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years Trey Mann, and their children Morgan Marie Mann and Mason Jay Mann. Maria is also survived by her parents: Paul and Patricia Amodio of Kent, her brothers: Leonard (Nancy) Amodio, Lawrence Amodio, and Capt. Paul (Dr. Tiffany) Amodio, US Navy. Her memory will also be cherished by nieces and nephews: Anthony, Paul, Sadie, and Charlotte Amodio, Drew and Joey Ault, Jenna, Gino, and Olivia Drago, as well as her mother and father-in-law Barbara and Neil Mann Jr., and sister-in-law Debbie Drago.

Friends will be received Monday, November 3, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated by Reverend Richard Pentello at St. Patrick Church, 314 N. DePeyster St., Kent. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
