Robert was born on December 19, 1956 in Ravenna, Ohio to parents Charles and Lyla Rogers. He had worked as a machinist, most recently at Rotek. Robert enjoyed riding motorcycles, water skiing and just being in the outdoors. For many years he enjoyed his hobby as a licensed scuba diver. Robert liked music and attending concerts.
Robert is survived by his mother Lyla Rogers and his children: Lindsay Rogers and Christopher Rogers-Pittinger. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Christian, Sophia, Carter, Alexa and his niece Shawnna Gest-Rogers.
He was preceded in death by his father and his brother Jimmy Rogers.
Cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
