Ronnie Guy Jones

Ronnie was born on December 30, 1956, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Lester and Melvene Jones. He was always proud to be one of the “Jones Boys.”

Ronnie enjoyed the outdoors and found peace working as a groundskeeper at Standing Rock Cemetery and the Walden Golf Course in Aurora. He also enjoyed fishing with family and friends, often at Muzzy Lake.

Ronnie will be remembered for his eccentric personality, sense of humor, and being an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was a talented pool player, loved rock-and-roll, and going to concerts. He had several rock-and-roll named bunnies throughout his life.

Ronnie is survived by his beloved wife Teri Lynch-Jones, who he married on October 22, 1988. He is also survived by his daughter Chandi Jones, his brothers Denny Jones and Mark Jones, his half-sisters Patty Purnell and Tammy Jones-Tetrick, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, his sister and brother-in-law Wanda and John Maguire, and his brother Jerry Jones.

Friends and family will be received to celebrate Ronnie’s life on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
