Ruth Ann Riggenbach

Ruth was born in Woodsfield, Ohio on December 30, 1949 to parents John and Garnet (Briggs) Piatt. Ruth had attended Moffet’s Church in Woodsfield and was retired from the electronics manufacturing industry as an assembler.

She enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting, crafts and puzzles. She proudly kept a tidy home and yard and loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She, along with her late husband Gene, enjoyed traveling to many states including Alaska and Hawaii and to Canada. Her family remembers her as a wonderful wife, mom and grandma.

Ruth is survived by her children Amy (Todd) Randolph, Kevin (Sandy) Riggenbach and Brenda (Brian) Reese. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Ethan, Seth & Ivy Randolph, Abby Riggenbach and Collin, Cole & Cade Reese. Surviving also are her sisters Dolly McWhorter, Clara (Wayne) Riggenbach and her brother Jerry Piatt.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene and her sister Ethel Dennis.

Family will receive friends at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 5pm until 7pm, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 20, at 11am with Pastor Ken Bulgrin officiating. Interment next to her husband will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
