Sharon B. Holtz

Sharon was born on September 21, 1943 in Cleveland, OH to the late Joseph and Blanche (Petska) Hladky.

Sharon, as an only child, grew up in Aurora, OH, where her father Joseph ran a small barbershop. Later, her father brought William H. Holtz into the business, whom Sharon would go on to marry. Sharon worked several years at Zayres retail store as a sales associate up until the birth of her second child, whereupon she became a stay-at-home mom.

Sharon enjoyed camping, making crafts, solving puzzles, watching television, playing bingo, and the thrill of the chase while building upon her various collections.

Sharon is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William (Mary) Holtz, her daughter and son-in-law Sherri (Scott) Schiavone, and her grandchildren Matilda Holtz, Harrison Holtz, and Lucas Schiavone.

Her husband William H Holtz passed away recently on April 7, 2023.

Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St, Ravenna, on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, at 11am. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua Twp.
