Steven A Browning

He was born June 9, 1956, in Blair, West Virginia, to parents Roscoe David Browning and F. Sue (Flannery) Vance.

Steve graduated from Crestwood High School in 1974. He worked for many years with Smurfit Corporation, which became Graphics Packaging, in Solon.

Steve was a devoted member of Bethel Baptist Church and truly enjoyed going to church and being with his church family. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Fat Boy and tinkering in his garage. Steve was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, but most of all, he loved being a Pappaw to his granddaughters.

Steve is survived by his children: Shawn (Nicole) Browning, Kristin (Lou) Keller, Josh (Sandra) Browning, and Meghan (Brian) Drass, his granddaughters Hailey Keller and Maci Keller, and his brother Bill (Vicki) Vance, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Howard Browning.

Friends and family will be received Monday, March 23, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, with a funeral service officiated by Pastor David Ballert at 4:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will take place on Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Boone Memorial Park in Danville, West Virginia.
