Suzanne Barbara Salamon

She was born August 4, 1941, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Joseph and Theresa (Reinhardt) Salamon. She was affectionately known as Barb to her family and friends, and graduated from Ravenna Township High School in 1959.

Barb loved animals, especially her dog Benny. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and collecting jewelry and purses. Barb was also very creative with making crafts and spent countless hours online on her iPad. Above all, Barb was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her sons Jeffrey (DeNiece) Bender and Brad (Deborah) Bender, her grandchildren: Vito (Summer) Giulitto, Lisa (Brian) Kinter, Andrea (Jeff) Jones, Katherine (Ron) Brown, Lauren (Matt) Myers, and Katie (Mike) Darrah. Barb is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Bella, Rocco, Nora, Grace, Olive, Deacon, Violet, Louie, and Vincenzo, her sisters-in-law Mary Beth Owens and Bonnie Salamon, as well as her extended Salamon family.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, her son Craig Bender, and her brothers James and Joe Salamon.
