Sylvia Faye Davis-Hall

Sylvia was born November 22, 1984 in Cuyahoga Falls, Oh. to William H. and Susan F. Davis.

Sylvia was a graduate of Ravenna High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and participated in Key Club. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron. She was very involved with her church, The Full Gospel Mission where she was also head of the Southern Gospel group that traveled throughout the south and sang. Sylvia was courgeous, strong and proud that she fought and beat cancer twice with God’s help.

Sylvia is survived by her loving husband, Zachary, and her daughter, Ella Katherine. She is also survived by her parents and her siblings: David (Crystal) Davis, Barbara (David) Kingsbury and Cody Davis. Surviving also is her aunt, Barbara Davis and her grandfathers: Charles Brown and Gilbert Grimm. She also leaves her nieces and nephews: David Davis II, Eli Kingsbury, Bradley Davis and Ema Lucille Kingsbury. Sylvia will also be sadly missed by several loving cousins and extended family.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rev. Sylvia Brown and her aunt, Pettie Ann Hilliard.

Friends will be received on Sunday, January 2, from 6:00P.M. - 8:00P.M. at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Funeral services will take place at 11:00A.M. on Monday, January 3, at the Full Gospel Mission, 887 W. Spruce St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
