Thomas H. Ellebruch

He was born October 16, 1948, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Martin and Theresa (Taten) Ellebruch. Tom proudly served his country as a veteran of the US Army and later joined VFW Post 8487 in Mogadore. Tom retired from Berry Plastics in Streetsboro as a maintenance technician. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife Melody Ellebruch on January 30, 2017. He was also preceded by his parents, his sister Donna Wilkinson, his son Thomas Strahler, and his son-in-law John Elam.

Tom is survived by his children: Tammy Strahler, Becky (Rich) Wilcoxen, Lynn Elam, and Chris (Megan) Strahler, as well as his 13 grandchildren. Tom is also survived by his brother Don (Betty) Ellebruch.

Tom’s wishes for cremation are being honored. Friends and family will be received Saturday, June 2, 2018, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with a memorial service officiated by Reverend Simon Blankenship following at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
