

Truman was born to parents Clinton and Melanie Corpening in Ravenna, Ohio on November 18, 2007. He was in the first grade at Waterloo and attended Immaculate Conception Church with his parents. “Tru Tru” loved to blow bubbles and liked the movie “Annie”. Spiderman was his favorite hero. Everybody knew Truman and everybody loved him, from his teachers to the nurses and doctors. He liked to play with his siblings and cousins and loved to swing in his backyard. “Tru Tru” loved his family and changed many lives.
He is survived by his parents and his siblings: Hollie, Miles and Hazel Corpening and step-sister McKenzie Shelton. Surviving also are grandparents: Janet Sabo, Susanne and James Brych and great-grandmother Margaret Yax. Left also to cherish his memory are his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Rev. Larry Frient, will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, September 27th, at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

Truman’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, doctors, staff and “lab girls” at Akron Children’s Hospital and to the Transplant Clinic at Rainbow Babies Hospital.
