Vickie was born January 15, 1980 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Andrew Martin White and the former Beverly Gail Nesloney.
Vickie worked as a Paramedic in both Texas and Pennsylvania. Then as a Registered nurse in the Medical ICU at the Cleveland Clinic, the CCU and Emergency Department at UH Portage and finally for UH Geauga where she worked in Community Outreach but found her passion as the Amish Nurse Navigator. In this role she gained many friendships within the Amish Community and was very active in assisting this community with their health care needs.
Vickie will be remembered as being spontaneous, loving, and caring. Vickie had a smile that would light up a room and an unforgettable laugh. She was into crafting, she most recently was learning to crochet; she enjoyed photography, spending time outdoors in nature, walks with family, camping and horseback riding. Spending time with her children was paramount, she absolutely relished watching Vivian compete in gymnastics and Nicholas play baseball.
Vickie is preceded in death by her father, her step mother Martha White, her brother Andrew White, and brother-in-law James Peralez.
Vickie is survived by her husband Harry, her daughter Vivian, and her son Nicholas, all of Ravenna. She leaves her mother and step-father, Beverly and Ben Hafley, her sister Michele Peralez, Her niece Brooke Peralez, and her nephew Hunter Peralez all of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Vickie's family would like to thank all of the healthcare workers that cared for her during her battle, especially those at the Seidman Cancer Center.
A celebration of life for friends and family will be celebrated later in the spring.
