She was born February 11, 1931, in Emmons, West Virginia, to parents Tibertus and Ellen (Smith) Barker. Wilma was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Rogers, her son John Rogers, and her brother Sygel Barker. Wilma is survived by her children: William Rogers of Randolph, Deborah Dawson of Randolph, and Barbara Daniel of Hilliard, Ohio; as well as her four sisters: Marceline Woodrum, Shelby Hicks, Roberta Thomas, and Glenna Nutter. Wilma’s memory will also be cherished by her five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Monday, September 8, 2014, from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service officiated by Pastor David Ballert at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
