Lou is a cousin to me, she visited my mother Cliva Minton when she came to Somerset, KY,  she was a sweetheart, told me of how she stayed with my Mom and helped her take care of me and my brother's while my Dad worked out of town. Always writing letters and sending cards with Valley calendars,  after my Mom left us she would send them to me. So sad to hear of her passing, Prayers for the family, I know she'll be missed.

Gran was the best little granny in the world and everyone that ever met her knew it. She would put you in your place when you needed it, and put a smile on your face when you were sick or sad. Some of my favorite memories with granny were being at her house when I was younger, swimming in the pool, cooking green beans and ham, learning how to crochet (a little bit!!) and reading her magazines. We both loved to watch Steve Harvey on Family Feud and laugh at her favorite shows. When I was a little girl she would take me on trips to Somerset KY to visit her sisters (just her and I!!!) and I would ride my bike and play in the yard while she talked and visited with everyone. She would often take me to her weekly hair appointments when I was little and I would sit with her and wait and help unroll her curlers. Up until she got sick we would all visit Tennessee, go to the grand ole opry, Gaylord hotel, Dollywood, and smoky mountains. I will miss her terribly, so much I can’t even imagine. I am clinging onto my memories of her and love and support of the beautiful family she and pap created. Every time it rains I look up and think of the rain drops as tears from the angels in heaven. Every time it’s sunny I think of her love shining down.  I hope and pray she is relaxing and walking hand in hand with pap, mike and Debbie, her sisters and all of her loved ones up in heaven. 

I don't know where to begin.......I met her when I became best friends with Tami in 3rd grade. We were inseparable. I practically lived there from then on until high school. I never had grandparents in my life growing up, so she became mine.  Every Sunday she would take Tami shopping at Northgate for a new outfit, I would go along never ask for anything she would insist I get something as well. She took me to my first concert with both Tamis we went to see Tracy Lawrence in Indiana. I will always think of her when I hear "Sticks and Stones" She would cook as grandmas do and make sure we were over fed lol. She was a grandma to me. She even told me at one point that I could call her Gran too. So I did. I worked off and on with her as well for the business. Argued fought as all families do but still loved. Every child I had she made blankets and always wanted to know what was going on in their lives and how they were doing. Most of all, well with technology nowadays, I don't remember people's numbers. Hers I always knew. So, after my mom passed and I just needed a role model or someone to talk to I would call her at night. She always knew what to say. I always knew that phone number and that she would answer and be there. So Gran I hope you are with all your loved ones up there and my mom. You will truly be missed and I will always think of you as my grandma too! P.S. I called Arlington today they won't let me subscribe and have your magazines sent there for our gossip on the stars but I know you are in the best place to see it all! Xoxo Gran I love you! 

Hey hunnays..have such great memories of coming to Ohio and spending weekend at Aunt Lou 's. Could not wait to get there and see Tam, Deb and Mikie. Deb, Tam and I shared a room. We had twin beds and Deb always made me bunk with Tam. Lol Uncle Roy would load us up for trip to get us Krstyal Burgers. Life was Good! Aunt Lou Never missed sending me a birthday card! Gracious , Classy Lady! She is unforgettable! I love you all♡ I will be mailing you something special tomorrow fron Gra C's.

I started working in the office at Valley in April 2017. Even though I've only been able to make a year and some odd months of memories with Gran she has made the biggest impact in my life. Gran and I have made so many memories together. Whether it was talking her to the doctors, the dentist, taking her home, getting her from the hair salon which was my favorite thing because I loved the smell of her hairspray. I'm going miss cleaning her coffee cup I got her everyday. I'm going to miss modeling my swimsuits for her, she loved that. I'm going to miss the cute little notes she wrote me and put on my desk. She's honestly helped me with so much in my life thus far. She understood, she listened, and she loved no matter what. There's some memories I can't put on here  because most of them were funny and inappropriate. The hardest thing is not having her in here. There is just so much I cant put into words. All I can say is I'm glad I got to say goodbye to you Gran. I love you and I hope you're having all the White Castles and Frisch's up there. Thank you for making me feel like family. R.I.P beautiful I miss you already!

Lucille and family have always been a part of my life. She and my Mom have been friends for many many years beginning in Somerset when they were young. One of my favorite memories of Lucille shows just how awesome she was. She took Mike and I to our first concert at the Cincinnati Gardens when we were teenagers, she stayed with us the entire concert. I know she didn't enjoy the music but she loved us, so there we were at an Alice Cooper concert having the time of our lives. 

My best memory was when I was younger and you had just bought an rv.  We were just driving around town doing nothing really and Kenny Roger's was on the radio.  We said that one day when I was old enough, we would go to one of his concerts together.  Sure wish we would have done that.  I love and miss you.

Aunt Lou, I can't put the words together that do enough justice to describe this amazing woman. Loving, caring, friendly, joyful, happy and the list can go on for days. I can say one of my fondest memories of her was when I was probably around 9 or 10. Myself and my cousin Tommy were riding in his go cart around the yard. We weren't just riding but we were having fun and destroying every bush we could run over. My dad, Fred, came out and got onto us for doing it. Well Aunt Lou wasn't having any of that. She let him know it was fine and to leave us alone. Now to know my dad you will know not many can just puff your chest up and not have him puff back. Aunt Lou was one a very small few that could do that. I love you Aunt Lou and will miss you greatly. May you enjoy the comforts of heaven.

Mrs. Goff was one of the sweetest people I know.  Every time I went to Valley Termite and Pest Control, she had that wonderful smile and eagerness to help me with whatever I needed.   You could just tell how much she loved her family,  and how they loved her!  My deepest sympathy to the whole family.  Your Mom and Grandma will be in your heart forever. 

I am so sorry for your loss, she was one of the strongest people I know. I know she will be very much missed. But my memory is from a long time ago. I was a Freshman in high school and me and Debbie had a class together, Home Economic and we were going to make a dress. Well Debbie and I had no idea what to do. We went to Ms G and ask her to help. She offered, But as you know Debbie did not want to do it so Ms Goff did hers but she offered to do mine. I told her thank you but I had to do it myself. Debbie's turn out great and mine as so-so.  Another one is Debbie and I got into trouble one time and Ms Goff called the school and gave them a piece of her mind, and then she told them to leave both Debbie and I alone. She was a great Mother and I wished I took time to come and see her. as aways you think you have time but no you never know. Something happen with Debbie I thought I had time. You have great memories Keep them very close.
 

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of need. I met Lou when I was about 14. Tami would on occasion would take me home with her for the weekend. Lou always welcomed me into her home like I was her own. Some of my fondest memories I have of her are her hugs, infectious smile, her laugh, her accent, the swimming pool, the incredible food she made and all the snackes she had stack piled on the corner counter in the kitchen just to name a few. She was a warm, gentle, sweet, caring and also an incredibly  strong woman. She loved her family to the moon and back and they mean more to her than anything. I know she will be missed by so many including myself.  I bet right now her and Roy along with Debbie and Mike and her other deceased loved ones are playing "catch up" . RIP Lou and I know you are being embraced by ALL of your loved ones in heaven.
