Beloved brother of Larry “String” Whitaker of Reading, OH, Linda Sies of Stearns, KY, and Joetta (Darrell) Kennedy of Somerset, KY. Dear son-in-law of Georgia Oakes, Robert Oakes, and Lee Cooper. He is survived by several grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many loving friends and family. He was a member of Aerie 1095 of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and a member of the Baptist faith. Age 52. 04/16/2010.
