I would never have believed that I would live a day without you, let alone a whole year.  It's been way too quiet and a little boring.  I know for sure that you were the sparkle in my day and I was the yin to your yang.  I would give anything to see that smile again.  I loved you then, I love you now, and I always will.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Rich for 12 years and continued to keep in contact after he got another position in the company. We still would meet up to have lunch or just chat. Shawn I could not believe when doug called me and told me the news.  We spent so much time together as best friends you know I love richie and you. I just met Richie at Horseshoe recently, when I was there with friends who knew him. He was so helpful and kind.  I know that his family must be hurting.  Condolences to his family and friends.

I've worked with Rich on & off for almost 20 years and was so happy when he joined my department a few years ago.  He worked in the lab next to mine. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for you & he made sure I handled things in a safe manner - he looked out for others. I would email him unusual pictures to do with hunting because I respected him as a hunter.  I too will miss his kind manner, quick laugh and genuinely nice personality.
