Amos Hurst Rissler

Amos was predeceased by his first wife Ruth Anna (Adams) Rissler on October 16, 2014.

He was employed as a contractor specializing in windows and doors. Amos was an attending member of Evening Light Church in Minden, LA. He loved being with his family, his grandchildren, and great grandchildren, who gave him great joy, and he loved the Lord with all his heart.

Surviving is his children; Michael W Rissler and his wife Eva of Lebanon, Janice M (Rissler) Martz and her husband Michael of Richland, Stephen A Rissler and his wife Rosanna of Reiffton, 12 step children; Jonas Rissler (Pamela) De Kalb, MS, David Rissler (Christine) Siloam Springs, AR, Philip Rissler (Carolyn) Myerstown, PA, Miriam Dienhart (Timothy) Lima, OH., Nathan Rissler (Shira) Bristow, VA., John Rissler (Lesa) Siloam Springs, AR., Amos Rissler (Melissa) Ohatchee, AL., Ruth Pruitt (Timothy) Haynesville, LA., Rebecca Nichols (Daniel) Moundville, MO., Elisabeth Pruitt (Matthew) Homer, LA., Sarah Tucker (Trent) Chesterhill, OH., Sharon Rissler Athens, LA., His siblings; Lizzie Martin of Narvon, PA., Anna Burkholder East Earl, PA., Abram Rissler Barnet, MO., Mabel Shirk Mt Crawford, VA., Mary Nolt Terre Hill, PA., many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Amos was predeceased by his son, Mark D Rissler, and his siblings; Ivan Rissler, Paul Rissler, Edna Wenger, Esther Zimmerman, and Katie Hoover.

Services will be Saturday December 29, 2018 at 930am in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
