

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late William H. Garman Jr. and Sara J. (Huber) Garman of Laureldale.
He was employed as a commercial truck driver in Berks County for his adult life, last working for Con-Way Freight, Birdsboro, for over six years.
He was a social member of the Gibraltar Fire Company, a member of the Sleepy Hollow Athletic Club, Mohnton, and a long time member of the Birdsboro Sportsman's Club.
Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer S. Nogay, Birdsboro; Kati-Ayn C. Garman, Birdsboro; son, David F. Mieczkowski, Exeter Township; brother, James W. Garman, Exeter Township; sister, Gail V. Scarpaci, Muhlenberg Township; and four grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son, Kris R. Mieczkowski, who died in 1989; and brother, William H. Garman III, who died in 2008.
Funeral services will be held at the Auman Funeral Homes, Reiffton, Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
