Arthur Frederick Tolland

Arthur was born in Wilmington, DE, on February 7, 1941 a son of the late John F. and Fern (Luckanish) Tolland. He was employed by Union Machine Shop in Oley as a machinist and also Doehler-Jarvis in Stowe as a machinist.

Arthur was a lifetime member of Pagoda Motorcycle Club, an avid NASCAR fan, especially Mark Martin. He loved to tell jokes, enjoyed a cold beer, shoot pool, and would ride his Harley-Davidson all year round. Arthur was a good hearted, hard working man, and a great friend to those who knew him. He loved his family pets.

In addition to his wife, Arthur is also survived by his children: Sheri L. Tolland of Harrisburg; Steven M. Tolland of Fleetwood; Sandra M. and her husband, Gill Morissette of St. Lawrence; Scott A. Tolland of Flying Hills; and Sara L. Winslow of Mt Penn; his siblings, Noreen Dallassandro of Pittsburgh; Virginia and her husband, Michael Sands, of Leesport; Patricia and her husband, Bob Rippeon, of Bowie, MD; and Richard Tolland of DE. There are 9 grandchildren: Leigh, Elizabeth, Jacob, Maddy, Jesse, Holli, Nick, Hanna and Hunter, whom Arthur loved and adored.

He was predeceased by his 2 brothers, Ronald G. Tolland and John J. Tolland.

A memorial service will be Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Auman's Inc., Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Inurnment to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A memorial gathering will be Saturday from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home.
