Beverly Jean Sydlosky, 76, of Birdsboro, PA entered eternal rest on Monday, October 23, 2023, at her residence. Born on October 6, 1947, in Factoryville, PA she was a daughter to the late Peter Cucura and Imogene (Antoine) Cucura.
Beverly worked at Doehler-Jarvis as an executive secretary, as a clothing model and had various other vocations throughout her life, but her true passion was being a equestrian and canine artist. She was a naturally gifted artist with an imaginative and original style who possessed a deep appreciation for animals and nature. Beverly found beauty in things others often took for granted.
Beverly was a political advocate, who devoured politics with critical viewing and thinking and was always willing to help out our nation's disabled veterans. In her spare time, Beverly enjoyed gardening, collecting dried leaves, spending time in tropical climates, being by the ocean, listening to the rain on the roof, photography, cooking and above all else, she absolutely treasured spending time with loved ones. Beverly was a woman of strong faith, creativity and beauty; who was fiercely loyal, loving, kind, and very patriotic. She will be missed by all blessed enough to have known her.
Beverly's spirit will be carried on by her spouse of many years, Kerry Himmelberger; son Chris Sydlosky and his girlfriend Gloria Greene, of Gouldsboro, PA; son Eric Sydlosky and his wife Dannie, of Elverson, PA; and 2 grandchildren Evan and Dillion Sydlosky. She also leaves behind her sister Linda Thorne; 2 step sons Todd and Justin Himmelberger; 4 step grandchild Rylan Himmelberger, Jax, Taylor and Sophie Himmelberger and brother Danny Cucura to cherish her memory.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 391 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606, followed by a memorial service promptly commencing in the funeral home at 1:00 PM, with Rev. John Otto officiating.
