Charles "Casey" Palkon

Charles "Casey" Palkon, 92 of Fleetwood, passed away Friday December 14, 2018 in Berkshire Center. His loving wife Martha "Mot" (Reed) Palkon passed away December 7, 2018. He was born in Reading on October 19, 1926 a son of the late Simon and Anna (Sczelacha) Palkon.

He attended St. Mary's School. Casey was an Army Veteran serving during WWII where he received a Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, and a WWII Victory Ribbon. He was employed by Penn Optical and then Reading School District as a custodian for over 10 years retiring there.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Casey was predeceased by his 2 sisters; Victoria, Frances and his 3 brothers; Eddie, Johnnie, and Frank.

Services and burial are private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory. Auman's Inc Funeral home is honored to serve the family at this time. www.aumansinc.com
