Christopher faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, during the Vietnam War era; where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and M-14 Marksman Badge. As a proud veteran, he was a lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Berks County, Chapter 131.
Upon Returning to civilian life, Christopher began his career as a truck driver. For over 30 years, he drove truck for Candyland Express, retiring in 2004.
In his spare time, Christopher enjoyed building military models, gardening, cooking and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Christopher's spirit will be carried on by his wife, Gloria (Putt) Lomas; his 2 daughters Michele Brown and her husband Chris, of Virginia Beach, Kimberly Antonio and her husband Brian, of Oley; and his 4 grandchildren Emily, Brian James, Owen and Harrison. He also leaves behind his nephew Robert and his niece Allison to cherish his memory.
In addition to his parents, Christopher was preceded in death by his sister Sheila Bunch.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Auman's Inc Funeral Home. Graveside committal at Forest Hills Memorial Park will be scheduled and announced at a later date.
