Clifton Sheriff Jr., 82, of Reading, passed away peacefully at home with his family. He was the husband of the late Janice Sheriff and was born in Manning, SC. He was the son of the late Clifton Sheriff Sr. and Elizabeth Hilton-Sheriff. Clifton spent most of his life working at Misco Products Corporation. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and fishing. Clifton had an incredibly positive impact on every community that he lived in and was loved by all.
Surviving are two children, Vincent Sheriff (son), wife Christina Sheriff and Felice Sheriff-Williams (daughter), husband George Williams; six grandchildren, Dante Sheriff, Vincent Sheriff Jr., Marcus Sheriff, Ashley Williams, Jada Williams, and Alexis Sheriff, as well as one great grandchild, Alaiza Sheriff; and two god children, Richard Myers and Delvonnya Williams.
Also surviving are two brothers, Elijah Sheriff, wife Barbara Sheriff and Napoleon Sheriff, wife Earthalean Sheriff (deceased); four sisters, Martha Myers, husband Willie Myers (deceased), Hattie Louise Kenney, husband James Kenney, Rosalee Martin, husband Lonnie Martin, and Linda Moseley, husband James Moseley (deceased), and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Clifton was proceeded by three brothers; Olden Sheriff, Theodore Sheriff, Albert Sheriff, and one sister Mattie Ann Wilson.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 6:00PM to 8:00PM as well as Thursday from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. Memorial services will be held on Thursday at 12:00 PM in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St. Reading, PA 19601. Graveside committal will immediately follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Rd., Fleetwood, PA 19522.
