Dawn was born in Birdsboro on February 4, 1927; she was a daughter of the late George and Hazel (Wells) Amole.
She was employed with King Kinger Jewelry as secretary in the wholesale jewelry industry for over 24 years.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Mrs. Orphanos will be held at 11:00am on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Reading. Family and friends will be received at the Church on Friday from 10:00am until the time of service. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
