He is survived by his wife, Laverne M. (Lutz) Hoster, with whom he would have celebrated 61 years of marriage on April 13, 2013.
He was born in Mohnton on November 27, 1934, a son of the late Arthur and Emily (Wentzel) Hoster.
Donald was a member of Masonic Lodge #227 and was employed by Dr. Elwood Brubaker as a caretaker for 45 years.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his daughter, Lori L. and her husband, Elvin Garman, of Ephrata, and his son, Donald A. and his wife, Jean Hoster, of Sinking Spring; one brother, Terry, and his wife, Rosemarie Hoster, and three grandsons, Dalton, Dawson and Christopher. Services and burial are private. Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, Reiffton, is entrusted with his services.
