Doris M. Moyer

Her husband, Bruce W. Moyer, passed away January 4, 2011.

Doris was born in Reiffton on December 31, 1926, a daughter of the late Pearl (Stoudt) Heckman. She was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Reading, and was employed by Baldwin Brass in the mailroom for 23 years, retiring in 1991.

Doris is survived by her two sons, Stephen B. and his wife, Pattie Moyer, of Sinking Spring, and David P and his wife, Jeanni Moyer, of Fairplay, MD; her four daughters, Judith A. and her husband, Paul Steffy, of Neffsville, Lancaster County, Robin G. Missimer of Wernersville, Susan M. and her husband, Joseph Harcar, of Leesport, and Lori L. Moyer of Newmanstown; her sister, Arlene Watt, of DE; and her brother, Bert Heckman of FL; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Doris was predeceased by a half-brother, Charles Poulton.

Services will be held Monday, March 11, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Burial to follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
