Born in Hershey on July 6, 1952, Emily was the daughter of the late Emil and Allene G. (Rockwell) Foster. She was a 1970 Hershey High School graduate and a 1975 graduate of York College.
Emily participated in the family business, Allene’s Dress Shop in Hummelstown, PA. Prior to that she had a career in Medical Records at the University of Virginia Health System, Geisinger Medical Center and Pocono Medical Center.
Family was very important to her. She loved animals and contributed to rescuing efforts.
Surviving are two brothers, Michael A. Foster and his wife, Carolyn A. (Houck) of Reading and Dennis J. Foster of Hershey; four nephews and three nieces.
In addition to her parents, Emily is predeceased by a brother, Robert L. Foster.
A Celebration of Life service with family will be private. Auman’s Inc. Funeral Home, Reading is entrusted with the arrangements.
