Ernestine Little

She was predeceased by her husband, Milton Little. Ernestine was born April 6, 1934 in Laurinburg, NC, a daughter of the late Willie and Peggy (Bostick) Sloane.

She was a member of Zion Baptist Church where she served as an usher and was employed by Talbott's Knitting Mill as a knitter for 17 years retiring there.

She is survived by her 7 sons: Milton Jr. and his wife, Sandy Little of Reading; Albert Little of Reading; Stephen Little of Denver, CO; Raymond Little of York, PA.; Benjamin Little of Reading; Gregory Little of Reading; and Jeffrey Little of Morgantown. She has her 2 daughters, Beverly Little of Reading and Renee Little of Reading. There is her sister, Gladys Williams of Reading and her brother, Wilbert and his wife, Sarah Sloane, of Reading; 26 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren who survive her.

Services will be Friday, November 22, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Zion Baptist Church, 224 Washington St., Reading. Burial to follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be Friday 10-11 a.m. in the church.
