Eugene Frank Sedoti

Eugene Frank Sedoti, 82, of Exeter Township, passed away April 30, 2015, in The Reading Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Dawn A. (Mitchell) Sedoti, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage on April 16, 1956. Gene was born in Reading on December 19, 1932, a son of the late Anthony Sr. and Angelina (Ferris) Sedoti.

Eugene attended Reading High School. He was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church for 59 years. Gene was employed by Luden's Candy as a candy maker for 15 years and then Dana Corp. as a press operator for 38 years, retiring in 2000.

Also surviving are his 2 daughters, Linda and her husband, Sean Perry of Shoemakersville, Patricia and her husband, Donald Monroe of Boyertown; his 3 sons: Anthony and his wife, Bonnie Sedoti of Reading; Gene and his wife, Nila Sedoti of Reading; and Jeffrey and his wife, Donna Sedoti of Exeter Township. There are 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Eugene was predeceased by his siblings: Antoinina Sedoti, Mary Varone, Consetta Chinnici, Josephine Magazzu, Anthony Sedoti Jr. and Charles Sedoti.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 7, 2015, at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 237 Franklin St., Reading, PA 19602. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Thursday 7-9:15 a.m. in Auman's, Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton, PA 19606.
