She was born in Reading on July 14, 1948 a daughter of the late Fred and Mary L. Simms. Faye was employed by Met-Ed as an executive assistant for 40 years. She was a true and faithful member of Spring Valley Church of God where she was a past counselor and a choir member.
In addition to her husband, Faye also leaves to cherish her memory, son Alan J, Brantley, daughters; Chiletta Walls, Candra Brantley Sheirff wife of Roy Sheirff, and Nita Brantley, brother, Darryl Simms, Sr., 6 grandchildren, 3 nephews; Darryl Simms, Jr., husband of Katrina Simms, Troy Simms and Jay Taylor, 4 nephews and 2 nieces and a host of close family friends.
Faye was met in heaven by her brother, Orlando S. Taylor.
A viewing for Faye will be Monday, March 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Rd, Temple, PA 19560, followed by A Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM.
