Gary Walter Buck, 81 passed away on February 16th, 2026, at the Delaware Veterans Home in Milford, Delaware. Born on November 28, 1944, in Oakland, California, he was the son of the late Marvin Charles Buck and Margaret Robey (Barton) Buck.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine (Barous) Buck, and his brother, Ken Buck.
Gary proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army National Guard. He later worked as a linesman for Bell Telephone in California, and in Industrial Sales with ECCO in Broomall, PA, before enjoying a well-earned retirement.
Gary was a devoted husband and an avid dog lover. He enjoyed following sports and spent weekends buying and selling antiques.
Gary is survived by his brother, John S. Buck, and adoring extended family. Services for Gary will be private and held at the discretion of his family.
