He was born in Reading on October 24, 1955, a son of Harry P. and Ruth M. (Walb) Hart.
In addition to his parents, Gerald is survived by his brother, Robert B., and his wife, Suzanne Hart, of Bern Township; his 2 sisters: Karen L., widow of Jerry Wojton, and Sharon A. and her husband, Glenn Kelly, all of Spring Township; nieces, Nicole and Amanda, and nephew Daniel.
Memorial services will be Tuesday May 28, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reiffton. Inurnment to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Philadelphia Chapter, 225 City Ave., Suite 104, Bala Cynwyd PA 19004.
