

Gregory P. Crossland, age 60 of Mohnton, Pa was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Reading Hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage. His partner and soul mate for seven years, Pat Summers, plus family and friends were at his bedside. He was born 1951 in Rahway, NJ to parents G. Kermit and Eleanor P. (DeCarli) Crossland. Surviving are sons, Jeremy and Jonathan Crossland of West Chester, and former spouse Barbara. Also surviving is a brother, Kermit F. Crossland, husband of Marcille Crossland of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roderick M. Crossland.
Greg graduated from St. Joseph University, Philadelphia, Pa with a BS in Psychology and went on to a very successful career as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant in the field of Ophthalmology and Macular Degeneration. He was the recipient of numerous sales awards. He especially enjoyed working with Ophthalmic Surgeons utilizing the products he represented.
Earlier accomplishments included certification as a P.A.D.I. scuba diving instructor and technologist at the P.A.D.I College in Jacksonville, FL.
Greg was an avid surf fisherman and was a life-long member of the Long Beach Island (NJ) Fishing Club where he won numerous first-place awards. But, most importantly to Greg was being a fisher of men, and to serve the Lord. Greg continually showed fervent enthusiasm for spreading the gospel to everyone. His passion was for the Lord and proclaiming the path to salvation. He was known as a true Christian man of high integrity and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Twin Valley Bible Chapel, 105 Shirktown Rd, Narvon, Pa 17555, Pastor Bill Muller officiating. A reception will follow. Interment will be at the family’s convenience. Please omit flowers. Remembrance gifts may be sent to The Gideon Bible Society or Twin Valley Bible Chapel, Narvon.
