Jacqueline Jackie L. Leister Focht

She was the loving wife of Ronald E. Focht. The couple shared 53 years of marriage and would have celebrated their 54th on May 23, 2013.

Born in Reading on August 23, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Louis K. and Mary E. (Thompson) Leister.

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Reading. Jackie was last employed with Penske Leasing as a data entry specialist.

She enjoyed making ceramics, reading, crossword puzzles and watching Days of Our Lives.

In addition to Ronald, Jackie is survived by two sons: Peter R. Focht and his wife, Gwyn, of Shillington and Bruce L. Focht of Reading; five grandchildren: Troy, Olivia, Portia, Benjamin and Ian; two brothers, Kenneth Leister and his wife, Wilmajean, of Lancaster, and James Leister and his wife, Joyce, of California, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013, in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Family and friends are invited for a visitation before services on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park at a later date.
