Janice Joy Kelley

Janice Joy Gabrielle Rehrig Kelley, of Reading, peacefully passed into the arms of Our Lord just weeks shy of her 76th birthday. Born on September 10, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Rehrig and Erma Davies Rehrig and sister of the late Rendil Rehrig.

A 1957 graduate of Wilson High School, "Fury" enjoyed ballet dancing, playing piano and earning badges as a Rainbow Girl. She graduated from the McCann's School of Business in 1959.

Janice is survived by her husband, James P. Kelley; her daughters, RayNice Fager Hoffman and her husband, Randy of Reading and Victoria Fager Soto and her husband, Antonio of Birdsboro; a son, Sean Fager and his wife, Stacey of Reading; three grandchildren, Christina, Nicole and Roger and a great grandson, Jack.

Jan courageously fought her battle with cancer with her husband by her side that lovingly cared for her in the home the two shared. She also enjoyed the love and support of her childhood friend, Geri Piotrkowski as well as from Sister Patricia, the hospice nurses, family and friends.

We will greatly miss her presence in our lives but we will smile when remembering the warmth Janice shared with many and the courage and strength she displayed until the very end.

A funeral service for Janice will be held at 12pm on Friday in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Friday from 11 until the time of service. Burial will follow services in forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.

Janice liked flowers, so the family would appreciate them sent to the funeral home.
